Steve Moody, LCSW received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social Behaviors from the University of California, Irvine. He went on to receive his Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Southern California. At USC, his clinical focus was on working with families including marital therapy and relationships.
Steve has worked as a therapist for the Orange County Department of Education at locations including Juvenile Hall and the Youth Guidance Center working with incarcerated youth. He has also worked as a contracted therapist for the Santa Ana Unified School District providing mental health services in the schools. Steve has trained and interned at Hoag Community Medicine, an outpatient mental health facility in Newport Beach, doing individual and couples therapy along with group therapy.
Steve specializes in relational therapy. His focus is on the relational dynamics at play in the home, workplace, school, and personal life that contribute to the mental health concerns and emotional wellbeing. Steven is also the co-founder of Relational Counseling & Consulting Services (RCCS), a company that works with corporations, small businesses, bands, and sports teams to help them improve interpersonal relationships between one another. RCCS does seminars, workshops, and both individual and group counseling to cultivate healthy, enriching, and productive relationships and to provide the tools businesses need to continue building healthy relationships with one another.
